NEVER USE : Cingular dealer in NJ \ NY area - ELEPHANT WIRELESS

Hi,

Had a very bad experience with this company - Elephant Wireless LLC -
Cingular dealer for GSM NJ\NY (www.cingularny.com) .
2 months ago called them and purchased Motorola v60 over the phone - 2 days
later got TWO Mot 331 in mail and 2 CONTRACTS. After all - one week of phone
calls and i've returned those phones back and got my wanted v60. A double
charge appeared on my credit card somehow - 109.98 billed twice same day.
Still fighting this with my bank.....

Because of A VERY COMPLICATED AND DISORDERED staff, recently got a letter
from their collections departmetn - saying i OWE them $ 300 for early
termination fee ( one of the numbers they sent me with Mot 331 wasn't
properly disconnected). Called them back asking - why ? - Got the answer -
thouse two Mot 331 u sent us - we only HAVE RECORDS that we received
one...... NO COMMENTS

A week ago called them to buy NOKIA 3595 - a guy (don't remember his name,
but he got that indian accent ) said - no problems you will get it in mail
within 2 days. Nothing came in mail , 4 days later gave em a call - my order
was cancelled. Reason : we can only sell the phone with new activation -
THEN EXCUSE ME - why is your staff SO DUMB and somebody placed an order with
me?

....guys better go to stores : belive me

Similar thing (and much more) happened to me. They sent me phone 3
times and charged me for that. They had a free promotion about moving
from TDMA to GSM and now they are charging $300 for switching. Plus
they keep on charging my credit card using different names like "KEEP
IN TOUCH WIRELESS" OR JUST WIRELESS. I am still fighting them and my
bank to get my money back.

I am actually planning to complain to Consumer Protection Office of
New Jersey against Elephant Wireless. I am looking if there have been
other incidents to make our case strong.
