Not only meaningless, but also not terribly surprising.
I think Cingular is prepared to lose those eager to jump.
Its future is GSM 850 + EDGE, not TDMA/AMPS, not GSM 1900,
and, for that matter, probably not 3G (for the foreseeable
future)i.e., this is just to comply with the DoCoMo deal.

At least Navas doesn't submit the fiction that churn is quarterly.

It's *objectively* meaningless, since ATTWS is disappearing into Cingular.

Thats not at all a certainty yet. Office Depot was sure it was
disappearing into Staples.


Sprint 5 years ago thought it was disappearing into Worldcom.
