I made the mistake of getting a Panasonic cell phone with my AT&T service.
Phone has lousy audio, and now, to add insult to injury, the stupid battery
quit suddenly !!! This is the Lithium battery (Panasonic brand) that came with
the phone; it was recharged maybe 20 times total. It died suddenly and
completely from one hour to the next, without any warning: I shut the phone off
with a full charge on the battery, an hour later the phone won't turn on at
all !!! Turns out the battery died and won't recharge any more !! That is
really nuts, can you imagine needing the stupid phone, like in an emergency,
only to realize the battery you knew to be full is dead and the phone is
useless, all of that with no warning whatsoever ?? Well, get a Panasonic cell
phone and you might just have that experience !

It must be your tough luck then because i have owned the Pansonic
Pro-max and Duramax for TDMA service and I now have the GU-87 for GSM
service and they are they best cell phones I have ever owned.

Well, just think, they are built solid enough you can just throw it at what
ever is coming at you, it doesn't count against your minutes when used that
way.

What about Bluetooth??? I connect to my ipaq all the time, the Motorola v600
that is coming out this fall has BT in it. If the new Panasonic has the clam
clamshell, BT, the killer screen, the fast processor, and reception. (screw
the camera, I don't want it).
I may have to get the 6310i and just eating it when the new phones come
out... I am growing very tired of not having signal when I know its just the
phone.
And what is this rumor about having ATT GSM Blackberrys? is this going to
happen? All the Executives at work have the Nextel Blackberrys. They really
like them. the whole Exchange server sync and everything. pretty slick.

I forgot to mention the specs on the X70, it will have 850 as well as
1900mhz, Java, Flash for the camera, and of course BT. It will also be
20% smaller then the GU-87 and yes this will be my next phone.
